PRINCE2 COMPONENTS - Change Control

Changes to specification or scope can ruin any project unless they are carefully managed. Change is very likely however, so change control should be in place to assess the impact of potential changes, their importance and cost to the project.

The objective is to capture, log and categorise all Project Issues. These can be raised at any time on a project by anyone with an interest in the project or its outcome.

Changes can be a request for change, which will change the specification of the acceptance criteria or an off-specification where a product fails to meet the agreed specifications or acceptance criteria.
